Who is the KC Aquatics Teams Booster Club?

What is the mission of the KC Aquatics Teams Booster Club?

• To enrich the student-athlete’s involvement in their Swim, Dive, and Water Polo team athletic community by providing financial support for Klein Collins Swim, Dive, and Water Polo team programs.
• Raise funds to support the swimming, diving, and water polo programs to promote both team and school spirit. This is accomplished through Booster Club membership dues, sponsorships, fundraising events, and other activities throughout the school year.
• Promote opportunities to build and strengthen relationships among all involved: the student-athlete, the coaches and educational staff, the parents, and the community.

What does the KC Aquatics Teams Booster Club do?

• Assist in providing uniforms, equipment, and various items needed to participate in aquatic sports.
• Coordinate fundraising efforts to supplement the costs of maintaining existing, and acquiring new equipment necessary for safe, competitive, and successful competition.
• Coordinate the staffing and logistics needed to successfully host competitions.
• Assist with supplementation of the costs of on-going, professional development of the coaching staff.
• Coordinate and assist in a variety of team-building events that facilitate a strong team support and out-of-the-water camaraderie.
• Coordinate and assist in the end of season recognition/celebration banquet.
• Serve to assist with the family’s involvement in their student-athlete’s activities by conducting monthly parent meetings, facilitating open dialogues with the coaching staff, and engaging with school administrators.

Where are my funds going?

• Booster Club membership supports all the above items and allows interactive participation in your child's athletic endeavors.
